Treating Your dog

As good dog owners, you know the way to your dog's heart is through their stomach. What you put in their stomach is important for a healthy life. From rawhides to pig ears and hooves or treat sticks, each chew and treat can utilize a different purpose. However, each dog and their nutritional needs are different.

Healthy benefits found by:

  • Naturally sourced ingredients
  • No chemical additives or preservatives
  • Natural supplemental benefits
  • Easily digestible
  • Complementary to your dog’s age, size, breed, and general lifestyle

The Collagen Sticks and Lamb Lung Sticks are naturally sourced with no additives. Both are low fat and a good source of protein. These chews create a good variety for almost all dogs.

The all-natural Beef skin Collagen Stick  is easily digestible making it a great rawhide alternative. This chew is similar to a bully stick but with some dogs it may last longer. Heavy chews like this are great for dental health. As your pup chomps on this durable chew, it is similar to a toothbrush on their teeth. Since it is a heavier chew, it's a great choice for dogs that need something to occupy them. When dogs get bored, they can tend to occupy themselves in the wrong way; like shredding magazines, or counter surfing for human food... just to name a few. In addition to the Collagen Sticks with low fat and high protein, they also contain peptides and amino acids which aid in inflammation reduction and increased mobility. Who doesn't want increased mobility right?

The alternative chew discussed above is the Lamb Lung Stick. It is a great alternative for dogs with beef, pork, or poultry allergies. The Lamb Lung Sticks are all natural with a single ingredient. They are dehydrated making them softer and aiding in digestion. Since it is a lighter chew, it's great for dogs with sensitive teeth.

It's always good to discuss with your veterinarian what treats are best for your dog and their lifestyle. In truth, you might not have to win your dog's heart and affection through food and treats. But, with the right nutrition and healthy choices, it will help give them a longer life span to enjoy with their favorite human.
